Minnesota FoodShare’s March Campaign Supports ERC

 What is the March Campaign?

The March Campaign is a statewide campaign administered by Minnesota FoodShare, and sponsored by the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches.  The March Campaign is the largest Food and Fund Drive for the Eagan Resource Center.  Hundreds of volunteers from Dakota County schools, civic groups, businesses, corporations, and faith communities come together in March to fight hunger in our neighborhoods.

 Why Get Involved in March?

Thanks to generous donations from corporations and individuals, FoodShare has an allocation fund from which they are able to provide an incentive allocation to food shelves that participate in the March Campaign. The allocation provides a monetary incentive for ERC to increase our local donations from partners who donate food or money to the food shelf during the March Campaign. The more food and funds ERC raises during the March Campaign, the larger our share of the Minnesota FoodShare monetary incentive allocation.
