FOOD SUPPORT
We give. We are the largest food shelf in Dakota County
• Serving Eagan, Lakeville, Burnsville, Apple Valley, Rosemount and Farmington
• Two distribution sites: Eagan and Lakeville
• Families select their own food—no pre-bagged food
• We value wholesome, nutritious foods for families and offer milk, eggs, dairy, meat, chicken, fish, bakery fruits and vegetables
• Both the Eagan and Lakeville Resource Centers are members of Second Harvest Heartland and Emergency Foodshelf network food banks
COMMUNITY RESOURCE AND REFERRAL
We guide. Family Advocates link families to various social service agencies, dependent on the family's need
COMMUNITY GARDENS
We garden. Garden to Table is a movement in Dakota County sponsored by the Eagan & Lakeville Resource Centers
• Garden to Table promotes improved access to fresh garden produce for families in need of food support through Adopt-A-Plot client gardens and Mission gardens
